''Powelliphanta gilliesi'', one of the "amber snails", is a species of large, carnivorous land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Rhytididae. ==Distribution== This species is endemic to the West Nelson area of the South Island of New Zealand.
